Sandra went to a coffee morning in the village and I was phoning people to let them know the situation. Of course lots of people at the coffee morning were asking Sandra about the planned trip to Australia and so she had to spend a lot of the time explaining why we weren't going.
I actually feel alright and am quite confident that everything will be ok. The only difference is that last week I had an unknown mass on my kidney and didn't know about it and now I do know.

Before Sandra went out this morning we had decided to drive to Anderby Creek, near Mablethorpe, to take the dogs to the beach. When she arrived home she said that our friends, Dave and Ann, were coming to the beach with us together with their dog Bella.
It took about an hour to reach the beach and we had all dressed warmly but it was quite pleasant walking along the beach. Our dogs, Zac and Jess, along with Bella had a high old time and they all managed to get soaking wet. A quick towel down for the dogs and a hot drink for us all and we were on our way back home.
